14 year-old Kevin Greenidge was traveling on American Airlines from San Pedro Sula Honduras, to Miami when he suffered a cardiac arrest. An onboard doctor tried to use a defibrillator on Kevin but the device was not charged.

The flight diverted to Cancun where doctors tried to revive Kevin but he was declared dead shortly after.

The lawsuit claims the defibrillator was faulty - and blames the death solely on American Airlines. From the lawsuit:

“Caused wholly and solely by reason of the carelessness, recklessness and negligence of the defendant AMERICAN, its respective agents, servants and/or employees in failing to maintain an automatic external defibrillator (AED) on board the subject flight” and “failing to ensure that the AED and its mobile battery pack were fully and properly charged.”

A 16-year study by the Journal of the American Heart Association found there were approximately 350 “air-travel associated” cardiac arrests each year in the United States — with only 25% of those occurring during flight. The average age of air travel cardiac arrest was 65 years —82% were men — none were under the age of 18.

This story is tragic. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Ultimately I debated posting it. However, we cannot continue to normalize these cardiac arrests. I’m old enough to remember 3 years ago when young and healthy people weren’t dying suddenly — cardiac arrests in children used to be rare!

The mother is suing American Airlines blaming them entirely for her son’s death because of the AED (defibrillator) failure. A defibrillator doesn’t guarantee survival.

What caused your son to have cardiac arrest? Instead of blaming the airline try the vaccine maker — who most likely gave him this condition. Or the Government.

Let me know if I’m wrong.

An off-duty pilot stepped in to help fly a Southwest Airlines flight en route for Columbus, Ohio, on Wednesday after the pilot experienced a medical emergency. I’m sure this is all totally fine

If we make the generous assumption that only half the world has been infected with covid then worldwide risk of dying with covid was 0.17%. Survival rate of 99.83%.

The CDC does not require their employees to be vaccinated. If they don't require it, why should your employer?
