Yesterday Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, MD announced he is stepping down from his positions as the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and Chief of the NIAID Laboratory of Immunoregulation, as well as the position of Chief Medical Advisor to President Joe Biden. At 81 years old he is leaving, in December, to pursue the next chapter of his career.
Let’s take a look at some of Fauci’s legacy and mistakes.
Lying about herd immunity to boost vaccination levels: Dr. Fauci tried to manipulate the public. He provided herd immunity estimates not on scientific data but on polling data. Dr. Fauci is quoted in the New York Times:
“When polls said only about half of all Americans would take a vaccine, I was saying herd immunity would take 70 to 75 percent. Then, when newer surveys said 60 percent or more would take it, I thought, ‘I can nudge this up a bit,’ so I went to 80, 85.”
Dismissal of the lab leak theory: Rebuffing former President Trump in 2020, Dr. Fauci dismisses the possibility of a lab leak, stating the “mutations” in the virus “is totally consistent with a jump of a species from an animal to a human,"
In his strongest statement to National Geographic: “very, very strongly leaning toward this could not have been artificially or deliberately manipulated” later adding that all signs indicate the virus “evolved in nature and then jumped species.” This all led to social media sites to censor and label anything contrary to Dr. Fauci’s opinion to get taken down or censored for “disinformation”
But then in May 2021 a group of 18 scientists published an open letter on science.org stating both natural spread and a lab leak were both “viable” explanations. One week later Dr. Fauci says he is ”not convinced” COVID-19 developed naturally calling for an investigation into the virus’ origins.
Mask Debacle: Dr. Fauci using masks as a statement. Regardless of your view on masks, he flip flopped. In the beginning of the Pandemic Dr. Fauci gave interviews saying that masks in public are useless and COVID-19 should concern them less than the seasonal flu. In an interview with 60 Minutes:
"Right now, in the United States, people should not be walking around with masks," said Dr. Fauci "There's no reason to be walking around with a mask."
He continued, "When you're in the middle of an outbreak, wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better and it might even block a droplet, but it's not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is."
We all know his stance on masks now, despite any real clear evidence. Later on Dr. Fauci would explain the real value of masks. During one of his many media blitzes he revels to CNN he wears a mask as a “symbol” Fauci continues to say “It’s not 100 percent effective. I mean, it’s sort of respect for another person, and have that other person respect you. You wear a mask, they wear a mask, you protect each other.” Oddly enough CNN deceptively titles this peace ““Dr. Fauci: I wear a mask because it's effective”…”because it's effective and to set an example for others during the coronavirus pandemic.””
He Peddles Fear: Dr. Fauci has been at the NIH for 50 years since the beginning of the AIDS epidemic. He wrote a paper in 1983 that was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, suggesting that possibly routine close contact, within a family household, can spread AIDS. Of course hundreds of articles from the media sounded Fauci’s alarm creating this false fear.
Fauci’s history of mistakes with AIDS doesn’t stop there. He was slow to work on therapeutic drugs while focusing all of his efforts on making a vaccine, which he later admits was a waste of time and money. (Sound Familiar!?) There is far too much information to put into a few paragraphs, it really needs it’s own article.

Fauci’s NIH funded studies in Wuhan on how to make Corona viruses more dangerous to humans. He’s also responsible for funding Animal (dog) testing. Honestly the more you read about Dr. Fauci’s career the more you wonder how he was able to keep his job for 50 years. Fun Fact Dr. Fauci is/was the highest paid government official and when he retires in December he’ll get and additional $350,000 a year tax payer funded pension.
As he moves on to the “next phase of his career” all I can say is ….. adios Tony.
Does anyone have a suggestion?
Goodbye Dr. Fauci...
Nuremberg2. That’s my suggestion for Fauci. And then may God have mercy on his soul.
