CDC Warns of Surge in Deadly Fungal Infection
Another warning - immune system damage to blame?
The CDC is warning about an “urgent threat” — a deadly fungus that is spreading rapidly. Infections spread from 4 states in 2016 to over half (26) of all states in 2022.
The fungus is called Candida auris and it’s a fungal infection easily spread through person-to-person contact or with contaminated surfaces. It can cause severe illness or death in those with weakened immune systems. It’s also mostly drug-resistant.
According to the CDC:
Candida auris is an emerging fungus that presents a serious global health threat. CDC is concerned about C. auris for three main reasons:
It is often multidrug-resistant, meaning that it is resistant to multiple antifungal drugs commonly used to treat Candida infections. Some strains are resistant to all three available classes of antifungals.
It is difficult to identify with standard laboratory methods, and it can be misidentified in labs without specific technology. Misidentification may lead to inappropriate management.
It has caused outbreaks in healthcare settings. For this reason, it is important to quickly identify C. auris in a hospitalized patient so that healthcare facilities can take special precautions to stop its spread.
Science Doesn’t Know Where It’s From
What’s interesting about Candida auris, besides the cases exploding when we are dealing with damaged immune systems, is that nobody knows where it came from. It was first identified in Japan in 2009 with the first case in the United States in 2013.
In 2016 the CDC received the first report describing a Candida infection resistant to all antifungal medications. Cases steadily climbed from 471 in 2019 to 2,377 in 2021. Most recent cases have seen a mortality rate of 30% to 60%.
Currently, there are four different strains of C. auris that have emerged around the same time across the world.
Not A Threat To Healthy People
C. auris is not a threat to healthy people. Critically-ill patients and those with a compromised immune system are most at risk. The fungus is mostly found in hospital settings.
mRNA Vaccine Suppresses Immune System
A preprint article exposed mice to Candida auris after being vaccinated with an mRNA vaccine. They found the vaccine depressed the mice’s adaptive immune system — when exposed to Candida auris they had a harder time fighting off the infection vs unvaccinated mice.
The mRNA-LNP exposed mice showed significantly diminished resistance towards Candida albicans infection. They lost significantly more weight and we detected approximately a log higher CFU counts in their kidneys, which are the target organs in this mouse model of disseminated candidiasis. Thus, these data suggest that pre-exposure to mRNA-LNPs might alter innate immune fitness.
Immune Damage
We’ve been immune-damaged. This is not ‘immune debt.’ Since around 2021, we’ve seen the rise of infections of various types of viruses, bacteria and fungi. Seems every month or week we are hearing about an unusual outbreak that baffles doctors.
COVID or mRNA vaccines, or a combination of both, is most likely to blame. There is plenty of evidence to support both. Either way, this isn’t good news.

Another pilot. 5th this month….

More boosters?

Candida auris? Dr Fauci says to wear ear muffs during sex.
I'm sure we'll hear about a highly effective booster for both the VID and ALL variants of Candida. Worse, sheeple will line up to get it, disparage anyone who doesn't, etc. Seen this before.
